I have only paid for patron twice. You are the second. I quit the first. I can watch walking dead all day long. I turn it on and clean, do dishes and somehow I stop what I'm doing because it lures me in. To watch it with first timers is just fun. I'm here for it all. Love you two. You make laugh and cry😉

Plus if I can’t eat and watch a show, I’m not watching lol. But once I got past the blood 😂 I was obsessed. I use to be at work watching and everything lol

My wife and I play that and Planet Zoo and since she is not very good at video games but has ideas I'll throw it up on the TV and my main monitor mirrored and she will sit on the couch behind my desk and give me ideas and watch. It is VERY relaxing.

2024-12-17 08:15:02 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite series, and I'm so excited to watch this with yall! I think Mrs. O hit the nail on the head as to why Lori would have turned to Shane. It is the apocalypse- Shane is someone familiar that she can trust. She is grieving/traumatized and in a difficult situation no one expects to ever be put in. Even in a normal situation tons of people move on quickly as part of their grief. Lori holding onto someone who is keeping her and her kid safe that she already trusted would make sense in a traumatized person's mind. Also wanted to add the beginning of this season holds a lot of parallels to 28 Days Later (2002). That movie inspired quite a bit of what came after, and I think yall would enjoy the watch. Both this movie and TWD are really more about people than the undead which is one of the reasons I love them both.

2024-12-17 06:52:05 +0000 UTCSomebody thats more knowledgeable than me in this franchise could give the proper order to watch this in but I know after 5 or 6 seasons I think they created an offseason sister show called "Fear the walking dead" That is directly linked with main characters and everything and you basically start alternating seasons of that and the main show for awhile.

2024-12-16 19:52:22 +0000 UTCThis was, and still is, an AMC show. The first few seasons were incredible, but it got redundant after a while. It seemed to me that they just became about jump scares and how gross can you make a zombie look and act. This was originally a comic book, if you didn't know, and there is no set canon for zombies, it is the writer's choice. Since Mrs O is a fan of Twilight, as an example, that author really tweaked vampire canon. Robert Kirkman (creator of WD comics) developed his own rules for zombies, and they are specific to this 'universe.' I haven't watched it in years, so I am curious to see your reactions.

So the part where Rick shoots the little girl happens after leaving Morgan but before reaching that farmhouse with the horse. It was just like a little taste of the apocalypse before jumping back in time to before it started. Something you might notice here and there, the guy from "From Dusk Till Dawn" Greg Nicotero (dude that was having the little back & forth with Love Gun before he whipped out his love gun) is the makeup fx artist for the zombies and likes to sometimes do himself up as a zombie and gets to be in the show too. You might recognize him here and there. I'm so excited yall are checking this out!

Also Glenn is one of my all time favorite characters, even when I see the actor in other things I get excited lol one of the few rational and calming people in the show.

2024-12-16 12:36:31 +0000 UTCI'm sure you'll hear this from others but, in The Walking Dead universe, there's no such thing as the word 'zombie', no movies or anything so that's why people in the show call them walkers, among other names, but never zombies. Hope you enjoy this show, you're in for a ride!!
