Nellie’s story is so tragic. For two storms at the end I feel it’s a nod at depression, she was suffering and her siblings missed the signs, nobody saw her. It was there the whole time. 😞 the casket falling I think it’s just Nell trying to get them to stop fighting.

Two Storms: Best episode of the series imo. That 17 minute one-take at the beginning… 😮‍💨

The storm episode was amazing the amount of one shots they did. everything was timed crazy, actors had to shuffle quick off screen and built one massive set for the seamless transition

i cannot wait till we get to order of the phoenix, when harry potter really starts getting darker, but halfblood prince and deathly hollows are gonna be amazing to watch you react too.

For me the most heartbreaking 💔 is the last scene in episode 6 where Nelly is in background and she says "I was right here, I didn't go anywhere the whole time. None of you could see me, nobody could see me." 🥹🥹🥹

The camera work in the Two Storms epi. Is so freaking good. And Steve yelling "the wrong parent died" is forever in my head now. It was such a heartbreaking line.

The Supernatural episode I think you're referring to is episode 20 of season 2, "What is and What Should Never Be". The monster is a Djinn, it puts victims in a dream-like hallucinatory state to feed on them. The Nell episode is definitely a lot like that. I was very impressed that you caught that Nell was the Bent-Neck Lady before the reveal. Good job! So, I read an interview from Mike Flanagan and he said..."The Bent-Neck Lady is a recurring presence in Nell's life, warning her of her impending death and fate. She is a physical manifestation of Nell's core trauma, which she has been grappling with since early childhood. Nell's haunting by the Bent-Neck Lady is a metaphor for her depression, and how her mental health struggles are often ignored by her siblings." I remember thinking..."The house finally gave Nell everything she wanted just to tempt her in and kill her." So freaking sad! Episode 6 is so freaking good with the continuous shot! I swear it's genius. Remember, Luke taught Nellie to count to 7 for protection because they were a family of 7. Its OCD, a coping mechanism. I have it....its debilitating. I count in even numbers all day, in everything I do....never more than 8. It's weird. Also, I think Hugh seeing them as children really tells you how you would see your own children to a certain extent especially after you and your family have gone through a tragedy. You would begin to value the lives your children have led in a more precious way, a mournful way even, considering the loss of one of your own, your baby. Ugh it's so powerful. I see my 2 adult children as little all the time when I look at them. Did you notice in the scene where Hugh turns toward the coffins on his way to the bathroom. There are 4 caskets-- one for each of the remaining siblings, and the colors of each of those caskets matches the colors of the siblings' shirts? It's crazy how many little secrets are in this show! We're close to the reveal of everything...I can't wait! Thanks for the reaction! Love ya'll!
