I totally get that there are people who enjoy the entirety of the series but not enough to warrant 11 years worth of content.

2024-11-01 12:21:21 +0000 UTCHaunting of Hill House is SO GOOD and only 1 season, so I think it could be knocked out pretty easily, whereas The Walking Dead is a multi-season commitment that is pretty strong for the first 7 seasons and then I fell off it. Which is crazy for me, since I work in movies and tv, so I tend to finish shows because of professional obligations of various kinds. I recommend: watch Hill House first as an appetizer and then you can tuck into TWD for a long haul, if that’s what ends up winning. Or you could do both simultaneously.

That being said, I don't think its a really good "reaction" show for this channel.. 177 episodes is absurd. Game of thrones took months and it was only 73 episodes lmao

I mean, I'll be in for the first few seasons, but I won't watch beyond where I stopped last time. Honestly this is a conundrum I would hate to decide, but I am sure the O's will do what they think is best.

I watched it all the way through and was a superfan the whole way (I even won a ticket to the huge live premiere event they had for one of the later seasons and missed the email so sadly didn't get to go 😭) . Anyhow I just wanted to say yall can form your own opinion about it, don't let people sway you either way, like they try to with GOT. I love both shows though that are winning, it really just depends on if you're looking for a long haul show, or short and sweet.

But I do gotta voice my wish that you do Haunting of Hill House too. Totally understand if it's too much on your plate but it is truly such an amazing show with a passionate fanbase. Plus it introduces you to the Flanaverse.

I suggest, if you can, if Walking Dead wins, watch Hill House at the same time, when it's done it will be about time for Squid Games Season 2 and so on. That will help rotate several shorter shows for those people who wanted them while still doing Walking Dead.

Great writing, plot, characters, etc. Mrs. October would especially love it as a well-known character from the Assassins Creed universe (and in actual history) stars in it. Hope it gets chosen in the next TV poll, but I won't hold my breath on that one :(

Too many seasons and spinoffs, that quite frankly, get worse as the show progress. Just know that it will be a huge undertaking to cover all TWD related content when the latter half the show is just not worth it imho.
