I've found in the last 10 or so years Eastern media like this has so much more authentic heart in its stories than us in the west. Think about how much effort they put into explaining the daily lives and troubles of these individuals. Very human heartfelt relatable characters. Last year Godzilla Minus One came out and it was the same way as this show but maybe better, Just so much emotion, heart, and depth built into every character. Thats what makes it all better more so than the plot or action.
