Alright I know I've left like 1500 comments on this one at this point but just one more! Lol The ending of this book is kind of hard to nail down visually in a movie, so both adaptations came up with a way to end it that's not really what happens in the book but they have to end it somehow. If you get the chance to, read or listen to it, it's pretty good. And this wasn't 3 hours long really, it was made for tv and split into 2 parts and I believe they played one and then came back the next week and played the other. And because it's for tv it feels a bit like it. Not as wild and gruesome as it could be but I love it either way. Tim Curry is a treasure and I think the people who made the remake loved this adaptations as well. The spider itself I think was stop-motion, except when the actors interacted with it. They're some behind the scenes of that FLOATING around somewhere. But I think combining the stop-motion and the real people had to be done with a computer so that's why it looks a bit silly sometimes. And Stephen King adds himself into the story alot, like Bill being a writer in this or like Misery being centered around a writer.

They're trauma bonded, just be happy all they've been doing together is hugging 👀

Thankfully.

There is definitely a part of the book that neither adaptation touched with a ten foot pole, the way the kids sealed their connection

Great reaction you two and enjoyed watching with you!! If you want to view another old, nostalgic film, you need to view Ghost Story-1981. It's a classic ghost story without all the gory stuff, but there are definitely good and many scares! Notable veteran actors include Fred Astaire, John Houseman, Melvyn Douglas, and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. They play old friends, members of the self-created Chowder Society, who get together and tell ghost tales. The scariest story of all, however, is the one they never speak to each other about, the one they try to forget!!! They harbor a terrible secret for half a century, but then.................... 😱😱💀💀

Lol...he plays Pennywise in the new one. He's in John Wick 4, Deadpool 2, Eternals....and many more. He's a great actor. His Dad is Stellan Skarsgård. He plays in Thor, as the scientist who was friends with Jane. You'll see soon enough.

its dated, but compared to the remake, I love tim curry's representation. but the remakes are pretty awesome too. there's 2 parts to the remake, one movie is them as kids, and one is when they come back as adults, so its kind of cool that u get to see a lot more, and it follows the book a bit better.

Phil Tilly

wish we knew who that was but we are about to find out!

Mr. October

I prefer the new ones but the original scared the crap out of me as a kid! I just enjoy Bill Skarsgård as IT....he is so freaking good!

This feels like a 3 hour "Are You Afraid of the Dark" episode.

Omg, yall ain't right for this! I'm gonna freaking watch it anyway but clowns are horrific. I've just always felt like a grown ass adult, dressed up in makeup, hanging out with kids in creepy af! The new version with Bill Skarsgård is terrifying as well.

Jessica Houser

This old school Stephen King made me wish you guys would watch The Langoliers. It's probably way too long and way too niche but I think it's a good watch even off camera. One of my favorites.
