IMAO (In My Arrogant Opinion), not only this the worst Tarantino movie, it's one of the worst movies ever. I tried watching when it first dropped, but had to come back later to finish it.
LOVED Hateful Eight, though.

I think this one is interesting, but I think you need to know some history;
At the time that Tarantino wrote Reservoir Dogs, he was also writing 2 other screenplays: True Romance and Natural Born Killers.
True Romance was optioned and Tony Scott (yes, Sir Ridley’s brother) ended up directing it and it came out in 1993. Definitely check it out, it’s got Tarantino written all over it but it’s so cool to see how another director handles the material.
Natural Born Killers he sold and Oliver Stone released it in 1994.
Reservoir Dogs got picked up because Harvey Keitel got hold of the script and pushed it to Miramax. The rest is history.
So if you REALLY want to do Tarantino in order, you have to include True Romance and Natural Born Killers before this or Jackie Brown or even Pulp Fiction.

I loved this one - short and sweet with hilarious characters. I don’t get what’s so hard to understand, he’s a serial killer who messed w the wrong girls. It was so satisfying seeing the girls come after him. This one isn’t as groundbreaking as his others but it’s the one I find myself watching more often. This one and Django are on heavy rotation in my house 🙌🏼

This movie interchanged characters and side stories with planet terror so you’re left lost with some of the peoples actions. Not seeing both death proof and planet terror together is like seeing it out of context.

So Tarantino is one of my favorite directors because it’s very clear he’s a fan of film. Every one of his films pays homage to a different genre of films.

This movie plays weird on its own because it’s out of place. The setting was Tarantino and Rodriguez were making a double horror feature called Grindhouse. With planet terror being the more exciting out of the two, but deathproof was still awesome. It paid homage to all the old low budget Grindhouse horror classics that played in small town theaters. So this movie and Planet Terror played together as a double feature. The most fun I ever had in a packed theater lol.

I think after they finish his movies they should watch Pulp Fiction again. That movie is so good but you have to be in the right head space or else it seems too out there. But once you understand QTs movies then you can see how amazing it actually is.

Yeah this is my least favorite one too. If you kind of look at it as bad ass entertainment and not look for a meaning in it….then maybe. Kurt Russel is awesome though 😍 but tbh, when I saw this pop up on my notifications, I was like ehhhh maybe later when I’m bored 😂

Alright so I finally crossed this movie off my list. Wow. I can see why people often don't count this one... it kind of sucks. Definitely my least favorite of his movies. There was really no plot, which is weird because starting with his next movie you will see he usually has great, intricate story lines. This was just a basic slasher film but with a car instead of a knife. They never explained the villain's motive or drive, all of the witty conversations ended going nowhere... I just found myself wanting it to be over with. Oh well.

Mrs. O said that the stuntwoman reminded her of Uma Thurman.... nice call, cuz she is actually Uma's stuntwoman and this was her first acting role.

stranger things next lets go. episode 4 is perfect. It's generally considered one of the best episodes of the entire show. This is from google : "Episode 4 of season 4 of Stranger Things, titled "Chapter Four: Dear Billy", is considered to be one of the most iconic episodes of the show. It was praised for its performances, cinematography, visual effects, and emotional impact. "

Zoe Bell is a real stunt woman. She was Uma Thurmans double in Kill Bill.

yeah youre right I havn't seen these in over 10 years but I still think of it as a single project because it was kinda released that way. I dont thnk tarantino even counts this as one of his 9 movies because it was a collaboration

Planet Terror is a completely different movie and story. They were released together but are not at all related to each other aside from that.

I think I've heard people say it's their least favorite. I'm not a huge Tarantino fan but I like it. Not a 'watch multiple times a year' movie but it's fun to watch a psycho woman killer who evaded justice F around with the wrong group of women and get 'street justice'. Rosario's curbstomp at the end 😎

Your faces when you don't like a Tarantino movie are so great. You guys looked exactly the same during Pulp Fiction 🤣
Stranger Things will feel like a vacation now 😃

This was the first and well only time Tarantino had full control on his movie, chaos without others.

This is an interesting movie because it's basically part 1 of a 2 part movie called "Grindhouse" that Tarantino made with Robert Rodriguez. The 2nd movie of this series is called "Planet Terror" maybe worth checking out if you want to see the whole story
And no that is not the guy from heroes, this is Eli Roth who you'll see in inglorious basterds and the heroes guy is Zach Quinto, they do look similar.
