Sounded very familiar in other shows/movies. Then the rotten food part just added to it and made it make more sense

But the scene with him and Chrissy in the woods, I immediately got this smile on my face and immediately liked him and then grew to love him. He is one of my FAVORITES!!!!! everyone needs an Eddie in real life as a friend 🩷

Eddie is my favorite new character of this Season. He's just different, weird or freaky whatever you want to call it...but I've always been that too so I relate. I always say "You call strange rich people eccentric....strange poor people are just crazy!" You'll see his appeal through this Season. As far as Angela goes....she's lucky she only got hit once with that skate. She earned that....no pity for her. Bullying is never ok but when she took the cheap shot about Hopper.....oh no...too much. There are many inspirations for this show...80s horror is a big one. Freddy Kreuger, Nightmare on Elm Street and they even mentioned Michael Myers. Such a good observation! I'm so glad you haven't got spoilers for this! I wish I could go back to see it for the first time...it's so epic. This season is so good and there are so many answers to come! You will understand it all very soon. Thanks for the reaction! So there were so many theories that that’s why Will was sad was because everyone forgot his birthday. The writers of the show actually forgot Wills birthday was said in season 2 and so they ended up changing his actual birthday. They missed out on a good storyline for him and I feel like they under used him these last 2 Seasons

2024-09-06 13:42:52 +0000 UTCWhen I first saw this episode, I thought she was pregnant. I thought her mom was loosening up her outfit bc she would be gaining weight from the pregnancy. I assumed she was coming out of the counselors office crying bc she told the counselor she was pregnant. To me, all signs pointed to her being pg. I don’t think they did a good job at portraying the eating disorder. I was so confused. It wasn’t until I watched a review a few weeks later when someone said she was being tortured by her ED and her mom and then it all made sense. Now that giant table of rotting food made more sense to me and her dad being silenced. I freaking love this season though. I’ve watched it about 5 times !

The way they filmed it, the story line, the way they bring things together, the episodes are longer, like mini movies, the new characters are so likable, It’s really an amazing season.

It wasn’t until Stranger Things came out when I learned it was just a game. I always thought it was a cult 😂 so they are portraying stuff that actually happened back then. Also the Memphis 3 got wrapped up in that. With the murder of the boys in Arkansas, they thought those teenagers did it bc they wore black and listened to Metallica. They were convicted on zero evidence, and only on how they acted and what they wore. They were released years later bc they didn’t do it. It just goes to show you how the media can spread propaganda and it has real life consequences. Eddie is one of my favorite characters!!! You’ll grow to love him 💜

He plays a collage student who no longer tell reality from fantasy. Will is crushing on Mike but knows Mike doesn't feel the same. He's more afraid of losing his friendship with Mike. Noah Schnapp who plays Will , came out as gay soon after season 4 aired. Saying I guess I had more in common with Will than he thought. Completely agree that Angela got what she deserved! Good thing you've seen Nightmare on Elm St, as it heavily influenced this season. Eddie is an awesome character and his actor, Joseph Quinn is fantastic! In fact he is the new Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch, in the MCU's new Fantasic Four movie!

Season 4 is the best season in my opinion and you guys are in for a crazy ride this season lol don’t look anything up at all when it comes to this season because it’s the one season you don’t want to get spoiled on.

It’s awkward indeed, but having those first crushes/feeling jealous as a teen is a major part of growing up for many. Like you both have said, the character development is the star of this show! Fun fact: Will’s actor, Noah Schnapp, also came out as gay shortly after the season was released. He said the positive response to Will inspired him to be himself publicly. 😊 By the way, with Chrissy in ep 1, the show was suggesting that she was vomiting because of an eating disorder. That’s why she was hearing her mom talk about “loosening up her dress” and calling her a “fat pig”. I love hearing your updated theories every episode! Also, I think the entire fandom would agree with y’all on Angela. She had it coming. Violence isn’t the answer, but I completely understand why El did what she did, and I don’t blame her. I’m not gonna lie: when I saw the trailer for this season, I mistook Eddie for Joyce. Is it just me, or did they look a bit similar when Eddie extended his hands after Mike, Will, and Erica won the campaign? Also, Brett Gelman has finally been promoted to the main cast. So whether we like it or not, this means we get to see more of Murray Bauman. Lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Argyle yelling at Jonathan in Spanish cracked me up. For me that’s one of the funniest moments in the entire season if not the funniest of them. Between seasons 3 and 4, David Harbour would go on to portray the Red Guardian in Black Widow 2020. It’s kinda funny and ironic that his character’s birth name is Alexei given that he previously worked with another co-star whose character had that name but he would almost always call him Smirnoff. Late to the Party noticed that when they went to San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Here’s the proof, but skip to 20:39 to see their reaction. Normally doing something like that can bring a heap of trouble, but David did it for a good reason. He wanted to help make sure that the Kamchatka prison set and costumes in season 4 wouldn't be direct copies of what we saw in Black Widow.
