Like all the MCU Disney+ shows it’s unique enough and fun. Not sure if someone else mentioned it because I’m too lazy to scroll and read but those detectives are the same from NoWayHome

2024-08-17 02:18:14 +0000 UTCThey have changed Ms Marvel's powers a bit. In the comics she can stretch any part of her body just like Mr Fantastic from Fantastic 4. Her powers are now light based. Also in the comics she is an Inhuman like Black Bolt from Dr Strange MoM. Tho she's not an Inhuman in this show. I like how the story includes Pakistan and India's history. I didn't know they were one country before.

I still liked the series and what it means for the MCU going forward. I'm sure you two will love this show as it's different to the other series, but has that Homecoming vibe.

2024-08-16 23:36:56 +0000 UTCI’m so glad you guys checking this out. Mr. and Mrs. O, meet Iman Vellani from Ontario. This is her first acting role ever. She first heard about the auditions through her aunt. Iman originally didn’t want to become an actress, but she decided to take a chance and audition since she grew up reading the Ms. Marvel comics. She said she would save up her allowance to buy them from a local shop. In fact, she cosplayed as Ms. Marvel for Halloween a few years ago. She even got her grandma to sew the signature lightning bolt to her costume. On her last day of senior year, she got a call from casting director Sarah Halley Finn saying she needed her in a video chat. Next thing Iman knew, she was talking with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and the production crew for the show. Kevin himself said it was a unanimous decision. In episode 2, I love how Kamala starts her next day in school with more confidence. She’s finally settled some long overdue scores with everyone. Mr. Wilson is such a funny counselor. I wish I had someone this upbeat when I was in high school over a decade ago. As of now Pakistan doesn’t have Disney Plus yet, but they didn’t want anyone in Pakistan to miss out. So what they did was premiere two episodes per every two weeks in movie theaters. I first heard about the Partition of India in middle school. I don’t remember much, but I know for a fact that we also didn’t really learn much about it to begin with. Even Iman herself admitted that she didn’t know much about the Partition until she started doing her own research prior to filming. Also, Kingo is the Eternal who became an actor after Ajax let him and the others part ways. Little do Kamala and Kamran know that all of the Kingos are one and the same. And finally, this series has some tie-ins to the MCU Spider-Man films: 1.) The drones that Damage Control were using to track Kamala are the same ones they confiscated following the events of Far From Home. Looks like they repurposed them for their own agenda. 2.) Agent Cleary is the same agent who questioned Peter in No Way Home.
