Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) Reaction!

This was a fun one ya'll. Thanks for making us watch the required things needed for this one! We really loved that we were able to catch those Easter Eggs!

Good work Sam Raimi :)

So good to see Professor X & Wanda again <3

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) Reaction!

Comments

Would have been awesome if yall had reacted to inhumans prior to this movie.

Lucile Byrd

I've, honestly, seen this movie over 30 times. This is my favorite MCU movie. I absolutely love the Scarlet Witch! Elizabeth Olsen plays that character so well. Awesome reaction.

Brian - VampyreKing - Cacini

Black Bolt is from the MCU series "The Inhumans". I think it came on the same channel as "Agents of SHIELD".

Ron Hubbard Jr

To really understand the last end credit react to army of darkness he was the first to open the darkhold

joseph williams

Destroying the Darkhold across the entire multiverse is an unreal level of power! There is no way 616 Wanda is dead. We didn't see a body and she's the nexus being of 616 (some comic lore for you). She technically can't be dead but who knows what Feige has planned.

Tanner McCormack-Wright

That was my main issue with this movie, I like her too much to see her as a villain...

Peter K

lol she's just a mama bearrrrrr!!!!

Mr. October

omg yes! he was the waiter and the bouncer!

Mr. October

Fun Fact, Bruce Campbell, the pizza guy, has had at least a cameo in every Sam Raimi movie.

Peter K

I laughed so hard when Mrs. O said “Wanda I love you still” because that was literally everyone of us she clearly did nothing wrong 😂

Gio Bellisario

I was really sad she was the villain in this but she did amazing. Learned her story in the comics is even more sadder

Gio Bellisario

There is works to getting Scarlet Witch her own movie

Gio Bellisario

This is when Wanda became Mother!!! Literally everyone was obsessed with this performance

Gio Bellisario

Agreed Wakanda Forever is Great and GOTG 3 as well!

Chase

Inhumans as it is, would have been great if it was released in the mid 2000s. But there was too much expectation, not overexpectation, just marvel already set the bar high, that it fell so short it was almost comical. I'd say if The Octobers want to watch it, just watch it, don't record. It wasn't bad, but it's certainly not worth the time to take to edit or anything. Plus, once you see MoM, you know what Black Bolt can do and watching Inhumans is pretty unnecessary.

Edward Martin

You bet that part was my fav too, the theme is currently my ringtone again after some years. What a nod.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

I kind of agree tbh, so much feels so crammed with these movies, maybe because movies aren't made thinking it will be one movie anymore, they're aware there is a guaranteed market for serials, spin offs, crossovers, and multiverse concepts, as well as cramming in endless easter eggs and nostalgia ... it's a double edged sword in that way imo.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Yeah idk how to keep explaining to first time watchers that the Avengers Endgame was sort of a fluke achievement, they're trying to do that even more intentionally now, but so much of what they've seen was not at all meant to be perfectly puzzle pieced together. A lot of stand lone works people loved just for it and are worth seeing, not necessarily to build up to something... until now with these upcomijg projects and reboots.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Finally! Great react! 😄 But can you imagine how unethical it would be to bring 838 Christine? He has a relationship with his Christine, but it doesn't work out because of his faults, so he just goes and gets another from somewhere else and flaunts that in front of her? If this Stephen also refused to do what he must with his verse Christine, then he should still miss his chance and just find someone else entirely, no cheats. Kind of the point of the movie? 😊

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Yes

asia roberson

always we miss you!

Mr. October

That kinda gives it away

Christian

Seeing Bruce Campbell made me think they would like Ash vs Evil dead

Christian

Blackagar Boltagun the whisper guy actually came in a series called The Inhumans. But that sucked. Glad nobody recommended you watch that. Lol. But he is strong. He once cracked a planet in half by whispering

Jonny

I think Wakanda Forever was a good movie actually. I think these 2 will love it

Jonny

Oh mannnn this movie truly captures 'The Multiverse'. Obviously with the Illuminati cameos.. but also the hidden eastereggs. So while they were falling through all the different universes.. be sure to pay attention to the black&white one! Funny little Hydra easteregg. And it's soooo much fun to see the the director include Bruce Campbell again. In this movie he's the hotdog/mosterd guy, in the original spider-man movie he was the cage-match ring announcer, in the second one he was the annoying usher.. and ofcourse in the 3rd he was the host in the restaurant. I love that the director keeps that going. After Endgame some projects were a hit and some were a miss.. you gotta experience it for yourself. Just know.. that whatever youve seen so far.. and what you are about to see.. is gonna make sooooo much more sense once you get to the projects that Marvel is releasing in the upcoming years. Its about to go absolutely crazy. Also a fun thing to think about is that 21th Century Fox was acquired by Disney. So a lot of these spin-offs and stand alone IP's can now be absored into the Universe. Recently the newest Deadpool movie (now under the Disney flagship) broke all records for an R-rated movie.. So that might shake things up for future projects, since R-rated do work and maybe Disney will give more directors free reign. Idk how much y'all have been watching the news or have been spoiled. But without saying anything, news that came out of Comic Con 2024, broke the internet.. I'll leave everyone to their own devices and let them look that up if they wanna spoil it for themselves.. but the MCU future is looking so damn juicy.. And I cant wait to see y'alls first time experience aswell! Sometimes though.. I really hate being such a fan of Marvel.. because ive seen it all, multiple times even.. and i just gotta wait for a new thing to come out haha. Funfacts about me irl though: I've seen the new Deadpool movie 4 times now, its amazing. Pure genius. - And yesterday.. I gave my little 20 year old niece a baby Groot plushy.. and she has not let go of it since.. We watched a few handpicked episodes of the 'I am Groot' animated series on Disney+ and she fell in love. She even takes it to bed and its the first thing she grabs when she awakes.. "Grootie" is the cutest thing ever. Anyway. Thanks for the reaction and have a pleasant evening!

Lifehouse

That was John Krazinzki playing Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. Like I said in earlier comments, fanboys wanted him to play the character and Marvel was in talks with him about it, but he declined to sign a 15 year commitment, but he agreed to do this cameo. Without giving anything away, it would behoove you to watch Daredevil (2003) and Blade (1997) before watching Deadpool and Wolverine. You should know the drill by now.

DarrellWaller

Wanda isn't dead. Did you see the red flash before the mountain came down. Oh no, she still has an incredible story arc to go. Trust me. Now this movie is the last really good thing about a somewhat lackluster Phase 4. Things don't get good again until Guardians 3 in Phase 5. (She-Hulk is really fun comedy and Werewolf by Night is a really good one-shot special, though).

DarrellWaller

"You can't sit with us" had me rolling 🤣 keep up the epic work 🤩 🤩

Gypsysoul.adventureawaits

I was disappointed with this movie. It's like they had an idea for Dr Strange and for Scarlet Witch and crammed them together. After the end credit of WandaVision, I thought Wanda was going to find the children she lost and needed Strange's help to rescue her kids. I didn't like that they made her the bad guy. Also, the cameo's by Prof X, Reed Richards, Captain Carter, etc, was ruined by making them stupid. Reed is suppose to be the worlds smartest man, but he stupidly warned Wanda that Black Bolt could kill her! Still I don't hate MoM it's still a fun movie. The woman Clea at the end opened a portal to the universe that held the evil being from the first Strange movie. Also when Wanda destroys The Scarlet Witch temple, you can see a burst of Wanda's red magic. So hopefully she's not dead.

Steven Jump

This is my favorite movie in the MCU franchise. Wanda is the most powerful character in the Marvel universe, by far. It would have been impossible for the 838 Christine to be in the 616 universe because her presence in another universe would have caused an incursion and, eventually, cause both universes to collide. The ending leaves you with the question. Is Wanda alive or dead? It's kinda hard to kill the most powerful being in the Marvel universe, I think. The effects in the Doctor Strange movies are unmatched. His movies never disappoint. Great reaction guys! Loved watching it with you. Can't wait for the next one!

Brian - VampyreKing - Cacini

Yeah it's fun! And Iman is just perfect in the role!

Emili

Omggg I can’t wait to get home now, off at 4 🥲

Gio Bellisario

Hey 👋 guys did you miss me. Next is ms marvel

asia roberson

This is one of my favorite marvel movies. I can't wait to jump in =)

Reaction Junkie

I’m not the biggest fan of this film but I think my favourite scene is probably Wanda vs the illuminati, I’m glad you both had fun with it tho & now onto Ms Marvel!!!!

Lizzie

One of the things i love in the Marvel multi verse is that our own universe is also i ln the lore. "Earth-1218 is the designation given to our reality, where super-heroes and other super-powered beings don't physically exist. In this world, all characters from other realities are considered fictional and are currently owned by Marvel Comics"😂 stupid that we live in the universe without real super heroes😂

Slow Shadow

Hey 👋 guys did you miss me. BTW ms marvel is next

asia roberson

Yes

Alex Gonzalez

Oh, boy! It was an enjoyable experience for me, too. I will be anxiously awaiting "Wakanda Forever", a personal favorite entry in Phase 4.

Jim Schmitz

You guys liked Ms Marvel?

Hitmon

Incase you didn't know Sam Raimi directs and produces horror movies, Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell, Don't Breathe. This was Marvel stepping into light horror, lots of references to Evil Dead, the Grudge, and I want to say Terminator when Wanda was chasing Stephen, America, and Christine.

Jason Rogue

I’m excited for that one.

Aldo Gonzales

In dimension-838, the Ultron program was a success. They’re fulfilling their true purpose and not going mad with power. Just like in this film, the comics’ first version of the Illuminati which debuted in 2005 also had Black Bolt, Mister Fantastic, and Professor X. Two of the other three members were Doctor Strange and Iron Man. For this film, the three members were replaced by Mordo, Captain Carter, and Captain Marvel. However, this version of Captain Carter is not the same one we met in What If. Also, Carol doesn’t become Captain Marvel. The mantle instead falls on her best friend Maria Rambeau. Until 2019, Marvel Studios legally (and ironically) couldn't use X-Men or even mention them or say the word "mutant" because 20th Century Fox held the film rights to them. However, after the Walt Disney company bought Fox's tv and film divisions, Marvel was able to take back the film rights to X-Men, Deadpool, and the Fantastic Four among other characters. As a result of the merger, the Fox corporation became their own thing. So they had to change the name of the tv and film studio. 20th Century Fox is now known as 20th Century Studios. The success that the X-Men cartoon had on the Fox Kids block was the reason that 20th Century Fox took a chance at creating the X-Men films to begin with. 838-Charles is visually a merger of both the animated series and the live-action films. Patrick Stewart portrayed the character again while also wearing the same suit and riding the same hoverchair as his counterpart from the cartoon. In fact, my favorite part in all of Multiverse of Madness was hearing the reorchestrated opening track to X-Men: The Animated Series when Charles arrived in his hoverchair. I also loved hearing Charles being back that quote he said to his younger self (James McAvoy) in First Class. As for the cartoon, the story continues under the name X-Men '97. Some of the original voice cast returned, and two more seasons are already underway. At this point, I have some big news to share involving the Fantastic Four. I can finally confirm that Marvel Studios is working on a new incarnation of the team. They have a new movie slated for Friday, July 25th of next year. They’re calling it The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It’s being directed by Matt Shakman, the same guy who directed all nine episodes of WandaVision. And guess what? Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic will be portrayed by none other than Joel Miller himself Pedro Pascal. Originally, MCU Spider-Man director Jon Watts was supposed to direct First Steps. He decided to step down and take a sabbatical from superhero films until it's time to work on the MCU's fourth Spider-Man entry. In the meantime, Jon worked on a coming-of-age Star Wars series called Skeleton Crew starring Jude Law. The new series should arrive this holiday season. And finally, Black Bolt is from the Inhumans show that unfortunately didn't do so well, but words like inhuman and terrigen are all the more reason you should watch Marvel's Agents of SHIELD at least during your free time. It's seven seasons long, but the characters of the show make it all the more enjoyable.

Here's me thinking I'll get to bed early tonight...😅
