2024-05-14 17:36:38 +0000 UTCAnother reason why I think it's Lyanna and not Howland under that helmet is because Howland himself is so secretive about this story he told his kids the story of the secret knight only once and refused to mention it again, why would that be? Well just like the Stark children the Reeds have a father who knows Jon is actually Lyanna and Rhaegars kid and both of them choose to not talk about the war to better protect Jon and his cover story. Why is Howland keeping this story secret? Howland participating under a secret name isn't illegal and it happened during the reign of the Mad King who's dynasty no longer rules so why tell no one? Not even your family? Is homie just the king of humble or is Howland protecting the secret meet cute between L and R???

2024-05-13 13:15:20 +0000 UTCI’m on the Lyanna Stark team. 1. The Armour didn’t fit correctly, as it would’ve been made for a man’s figure, so for obvious reasons that makes sense. It was also said to be mismatched and this makes sense because as a lady, she wouldn’t have her own set of fitted armor. 2. The knight’s shield had a weirwood painted on it and weirwoods, as we know, are related to the Starks. 3. The booming voice could’ve been from her trying to make her voice deep like a man’s as well as the helm projecting her voice. 4. Lyanna was said to have been a magnificent horseback rider. 5. Lyanna was the one to come to Howland Reeds aid when he was attacked. 6. Lyanna reminds me so much of Arya, and that is totally something Arya would do lol

And weren't keeping grrm in the loop anymore anyway. He had stepped away when they refused to include Lady Stone heart and other key characters. It's all on them.

They dont bring this detail up in the video but the Mad King was so afraid of this masked stranger that he sent men after him to be unmasked. Who did the Mad King send? Rhaegar! If this is secretly the origin of how L + R = J came to be this short story would have more purpose to the over all story than if it were Howland Reed under the helmet.

2024-05-13 12:21:48 +0000 UTCI don’t think it was ever known who the Knight of the Laughing Tree was. I don’t believe that it being Rhaegar was a serious theory, though. The person was small, in loose-fitting, obviously borrowed armor. The theories I heard were that was either Howland Reed or Lyanna Stark.

When aegon came to highgarden tyrells bent the knee to them and were named the lord paramount of the reach. To make it more legitimate the daughters of mern were married to house tyrell. So, it was house targeryen who granted tyrells the power and no supplant took place.”

2024-05-13 07:41:43 +0000 UTCBesties!! So excited for you guys to see season 7! Just keep in mind this end of the series is D&D work. We have catapulted ahead of GRRM’s work. So anything you see is subject to change in the books. He even said in a blog post that certain characters who are dead in the series are still alive in the books and vice versa. I consider the book and show two different versions of the same story.
