I was moved by some comments I read when I was cleaning up Patreon last week. I seem to have a lot of folks in the military here. It makes me so happy that this is a safe place for you!
My maternal grandfather actually was in the 101st Airborne Division! He's had a necklace with an eagle head for as long as I can remember. And my step-grandfather served on the USS Newport News, though I don't recall what years he was active.
