Yeah, I know, IMO it is still a spoiler if it is mentioned briefly in some sentence on the side and explained later on in detail. I would understand helping them understand it if it helped them understand some context, but it really only was relevant in this episode where it was explained, so absolutely no need to explain it to them if it is explained by the show.

It wasn't a spoiler because when Arya and the gang first arrived at Harrenhal (2 or 3 episodes ago) and saw the castle ruins, Hotpot said "What kind of fire can melt stone?" and Arya replied "Dragonfire". So it was already established.

Daenerys speaks High Valerian. The Targaryen ancestry is from Old Valeria....you learned that in the histories and lore. She named her dragons after Khal Drogo and her brothers.
Drogon-Khal Drogo
Viserion-Viserys
Rhaegal-Rhaegar
(Remember....Viserys is the one Khal Drogo killed and Rhaegar is the one who kidnapped Lyanna Stark)

Yep. Little Finger only does what benefits himself. He clearly noticed that was Arya but for some reason he decided it didn’t benefit him to reveal that information to Tywin.

I agree. Sansa is just too pure and in way over her head. She’s in survival mode

The villains in this show are really focused. Basically you can choose any bad person, name the thing that they want most, and totally see them destroying anything else in the world to make that happen. It makes them very real and sometimes you empathize with some of them. Of course, you still gotta hate 'em lol.

This really is an amazing cast. Some of them have such a commanding presence that you wanna hold your breath when they whisper 'cause you don't want to miss anything. Tywin (Charles Dance) really is a commanding presence which is great because his character should be that way. He's been de-facto ruling the world behind both the Mad King and the drunk king and everyone in that world knows it.

Yeah, she's got that 1,000 yard stare every time she says she loves Joffrey

It tickles me every time Mr. October says appisode instead of episode. His southern accent is adorable.

You are doing a great job, I always like the discussions afterwards. I like when you get slowly to the truth, even though you might be on the wrong path for a little while. Don't sweat that.
I don't like the spoilers though. For example someone told you before this episode that Harrenhal was destroyed by Dragons, and that is exactly what Tywin and Arya talked about, so you would have heard it in detail in this episode. People either seem to forget a lot what is revealed when or they spoil on purpose. Some people think that these kind of little details are not I spoiler, I disagree. Everything that gets revealed in the show later is a spoiler IMO.

The men without honor refers to Theon and Jaime, who coincidentally happen to be my 2 favourite characters in the show

Tywin easily one of my top 3 characters and the actor was perfect for the role. Man just has presence you can’t teach….And yes the red god Jaqen is talking about is the same god as the Red Woman’s, the Lord of Light, nice catch as always

I think you guys just need to relax and let the magic happen, lol. This is a fantasy world and there are witches and warlocks and dragons and people with powers (like seeing through the eyes of animals or having premonitions). There are animated corpses and men made of ice. There are gods and those gods sometimes influence things. I’m not really understanding why you fight it so hard when something supernatural happens.

I would encourage y'all to give the magical stuff & the religions room to breathe - it won't be logical and you'll frustrate yourself looking for a logical reason for why that wizard dude who stole Dany's dragons can appear and reappear in different places. Or you'll keep getting confused if you try to decide which "religion" is "good" or "evil", etc. There isn't any "magical system" to figure out because so many folks are practicing different customs, religions, prayers, assumptions. Like, the Red Woman is just a priestess for the Lord of Light - and there are others like her across the world - like that woman in the mask who is talking to Jorah - she's painting a protective spell on that dudes back. The Red Woman is asking The Lord of Light for signs that Stannis is the true king - and then she tells Stannis those things. And then she and Stannis do things that they think will keep the Lord of Light on their side. But the Wizards in Quarth are something completely different. The magic of Daenerys is specific to HER only. Bran's ability to have prophetic dreams is just A Thing that some people have. The Seven are just another polytheistic religion that is newer than The Old Gods. None of these are good or bad. You'll stay confused if you try to assign Christian/Abrahamic sensibilities to them.

It's always interesting, the way people people evaluate Tywin in comparison to his kids. And Sansa isn't brain washed - she's doing the only thing she can do to survive in King's Landing - pretending to be loyal to Joffrey. She's in danger at all times.

It'll sound crazy now but Jamie is my favorite character in the show and also Jaqen H’ghar is not the same as the red woman. They serve different gods. There is a cool link between Arya and Jaqen you’ll see soon.

Tywin definitely does not know she’s Arya Stark. He only deduced that she was high born, smart, and from the North. She’s too valuable to his war efforts. The only debatable one that knows Arya Stark is in Harrenhall would be Littlefinger. It’s not explicitly talked about if he recognized her or not. I think he did recognize her but his slimy ass probably just kept that nugget close to the vest.
