Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 9 Baelor

Ya'll what in the HECK!

WHAT IN THE HECK!

Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 9 Baelor

Comments

Watching this series will be my 4th time watching I hated Jamie but he grew to be the best character in this show makes me tear up for him

Mack

Ned was absolutely one of the most honorable and loyal characters. The Starks really are genuinely good people but the Lannisters are questionable. Joffrey wants to rid the world of all honor and loyalty unless they're loyal to him. Ned was the epitome of honorable and loyal. It was definitely a message to all who oppose Joffrey. The moment they took Ned's head was devastating for me too. Crying only means that you are invested in the show and characters. Great reaction!

Jessica Houser

I feel your sadness. Death of Eddard was this time as sad as first time I saw it.

John H

I hate to say this by the time this series is done this scene may not even be in your top 10 most shocking or heart wrenching. This show will make you mad and numb to death by the end. No character is safe. Who you think is the main charters probably are not by the end.

Shark23

Don't listen to what some people say the later seasons are actually even better with 8th being one of the best

Milf and Cookies

Gotta be the most real reaction to Ned’s death. I feel you girl

K. WISE

Welcome to Game of Thrones lol

Christian

oh my goodness 🥹

Mr. October

haha that was a sad moment for her i guess 🤣

Mr. October

omg i was looking for any and everything to stop it ! it never happened !!!

Mr. October

you’re the best that was on of the most intense cinematic moments we had on our channel so far

Mr. October

love your idea! i think it’s cool to keep up with who ya like and who ya hate!

Mr. October

I knew mrs October was in trouble when she reacted to the carrier pigeon being shot down!! Old people have wisdom. Maester Aemon drops some dimes! Great reaction

Pete Befi

The Aegon that Maester Aemon describes as his brother is Aegon the 5th of his name (also commonly referred to as "Egg") which is about 300ish years after Aegon the Conquerer (Aegon the first of his name). There are a lot of family names that get used a lot through history, and the Targaryens are some of the worst offenders of this. Can certainly make keeping the history difficult. It's like a taking a fictional history class 😆

Huckfinn

That is correct, the Lanisters don't currently have one, but their family did have one a long time ago that one of their ancestors took with him to Essos and was never seen again.

Huckfinn

The craziness is only just beginning! You guys are in for a ride.

daniel keddy

“You hate everyone” lol that’s me … and you should make a list of ppl you hate as the show goes on.. I did, I had pen & paper and I swear I added names then took off names crossed out names, etc every episode lol advice: use a Pencil…… and Dani never asked to be married or wanted the throne that was her brother…. Her brother sold her without her permission or knowledge he sold her for ships so HE can get to the throne…. Bc he was the last male Targaryen his dad /Dani too their dad was The Mad King … Dani wasn’t feeling Drogo at 1st.. then she started to like him ( asked the girl how to make him happy.. she really wanted to learn) then fell in love with him and was happy she was pregnant she never was trying to manipulate him to get to the throne that was her brother he didn’t care what had to be done to get over to the throne and you saw what happened to him…….. But keep watching and find a therapist bc you’re gonna need one moving fwd.

Lina Marshall

You guys are the best reactors ever, lol. There's just something so genuine about you two. I, of course, was looking forward to this episode and it did not disappoint.

Miguel Lugo

I've been waiting on this episode all season. I always thought that something would stop the execution right up till it didn't lol. That was great. And trust me...there is alot more jaw dropping things to come

Mr. October

Mr. October

that makes it so crazy! it’s so interesting we just want more !

Mr. October

that was such a good moment in this episode

Mr. October

wow yes i see exactly what you mean

Mr. October

Sansa and Dani do not have a choice in what man they are linked to. They both were betrothed to them (Joffrey and Khal Drogo). Sansa was not pursuing Joffrey, she was promised to him by King Rob and she only became “ambitious” to be royalty after that. Dani initially had no ambition for the throne when she was wed off to Drogo. Remember she was terrified of him and her brother at first. So the driving force behind the decisions of the women in this show and even some of the younger men (Jon and Robb) is not ambition, it’s their station/status and circumstances that force them to play the Game of Thrones. And as Cersei said to Ned, you either play the game or you die.

Itss_NattyJ

Rob surprised everyone by out-maneuvering the military minded Tywin Lannister. If you remember when the Northerners captured a scout Rob let the scout go to tell Tywin he was coming south with 20,000 men to "see if Tywin Lannister really does shit gold". That was Rob being naturally brilliant at warfare and setting up to fake out the Lannisters and take Jamie captive. Even his own bannermen didn't see what Rob was doing. Rob is a natural with the charisma and military mind to lead even though he's hella young (the actor, like Sansa's, is a bit older than the character).

Sir_Dalagad

.. welcome to Game of Thrones. I always felt this was the pivotal moment in the series where you know, no one is safe and the show is dark. But it’s so well done and amazing. Truly nothing will ever compare.

Jamie Boucher

This is the episode when you realize ANYTHING can happen in this series. Loved the reaction! You guys are so genuine and I dig it.

Erin Renee

This show will actually stun you, not usually because something good is happening, but hang in there cause sometimes it's stunning how great it is.

Sir_Dalagad

FYI, the sword Longclaw that Jon got is the strongest metal in this world and also the lightest weight-wise, Valyrian steel. It’s like the vibranium of GoT and there’s only like 15 swords at most of them still around. Ned’s sword Ice is also Valyrian steel

TC24

Ned kinda coded his confession in a way that makes it not a lie. He swore by the High Septon and their gods. Ned’s from the North. He doesn’t believe in that religion. Maester Aemon volunteered to go to the wall. He could have been King but didn’t want it. In hindsight he probably could have saved everyone a lot of trouble by staying and being King instead. I think he would have been good at it.

Wesley Burton

You should know Valyrian steel is some of the most precious metal in the world. Only the high lords of all the families have a Valyrian steel sword. I’m pretty sure the Lannisters don’t even have one in their family since their high status is semi new over the last hundred years. There’s probably less than 10 of these swords in all of Westeros so John getting one is huge.

Gnarlybudz

Yeah, this show doesn’t care about our feelings. Side note: Not sure if you caught it in all the commotion, but when Ned was walking out, after he saw Arya at the statue of Baelor, he said “Baelor” to Yoren, which is why Yoren grabbed her as she was running up to “save” Ned. Yoren is from the Night’s Watch, he’s a friend of the Starks. Also, any prisoners from the high Houses (like Sansa and Jaime are now) are very valuable. Killing them is STUPID. They’re worth more alive to be used as leverage. That’s why everyone was begging Joffrey to stop the beheading after he demanded it.

Sivan

“All of our ‘Eddards’ out there… let us know.” 😂

Sivan

I’m so ready to go on this journey with yall and feel the shock and awe I felt my first watch 😩

Cleven Anthony

You may have missed this, but the guy that went to take care of Arya was the same guy Ned said "Baelor!" to when he was being taken through the crowd. That guy is Yoren, the Night's Watch guy who traveled with Tyrion from the Wall and told Ned that his wife took Tyrion prisoner. Arya was perched on a statue of "Baelor the Blessed," which is why Ned said "Baelor!" to Yoren to point out Arya to him. He's met Arya when he went to see Ned in King's Landing, and had mistaken Arya for a boy. "He has the look." hee hee. Love your reactions!!!

Punjathon

YOU ARE NOW CHILDREN OF THE SUMMER. IT ONLY GETS CRAZIER FROM HERE.

chaddytwiceover

omg no that is insane now i wish i noticed that

Mr. October

I don't know if you guys noticed but the executioner used Neds own sword, Ice. Its the same sword he used to execute the nights watch man at the start of the show

Josh Ashford

Haha, I may sound evil but I've been looking forward to this

Josh Ashford

The Twins were added to the map.

Richard
