This keyboard is rather old at this point but I had a silly thought in the back of my mind while I produced this. The soul of this piece is the distressed state of the keyboard. What you are hearing is my workhorse; the keyboard that Egee types and does all his things on! haha
Flufferschnoot Тайга Мөңгүн in Discord had some feedback about the keyboard that made me giggle. These poor keys are not lubed and I bet some of the switches are broken. I'm still not even sure what they are. It's a stock Corsair K70!
I hope you enjoy the video effects! I really had no idea what to put on there. I figure the keyboard looks pretty neat and why not play around with video effects and see if I can learn a thing or two.
Sometimes I feel like I write too much for these videos but then I feel like I need to write more because there's yet still more to say! Like how I positioned the mics and stuff. Each sample used a different mic positioning. It got a little out of control; I was moving the mics around constantly and it produced a bunch of usable noise.
Oh! And let me tell you about the background white noise. It's actually 3 different fans and a buzz from the keyboards picked up by the mics. If you listen very carefully, you can hear the RGB noise out of the right side. I'd normally notch it but I liked it as sort-of sonic symphony.
