Hey you Flufferschnoots! I'm trying something different with this mid-week video. Visual Triggers! It's something I've mentioned wanting to do and I've felt inspired by some other asmrtists I've been watching lately.
Of all of the asmr formats, visual triggers get me the most. I enjoy watching my own movements when I'm editing so I thought I'd capture it here with a dedicated video of just that.

The way I arranged the set was pretty neat. I used my laptop as the monitor and positioned the two mics along side the camera like ears. I'm amazed they didn't pick up the motor noise from the autofocus.
It felt really weird during the recording session. The parts where I'm tracing the camera lens, my brain is back here going "wtf are you even doing???".
I think if I just keep practicing, I'll be able to shut that little voice down and make some really good visual stuff.
Enjoy! ππ
