Barbarian Egee Explores a Cave with you - Early Access Video

Hey Flufferschnoots! It's the video for the next Barbarian Egee episode! This follows up on the audio version that released yesterday.

This little series started when I was completely obsessed playing Conan Exiles. I kinda just wanted an excuse to play the game and tell you about my silly adventures in there haha.

Conan Exiles is one of the most beautiful games i've ever played. It a weird juxtaposition because in spite of being beautiful, the world is absolutely savage with lots of gore, dismemberment, slavery, etc.

It's a shame that there's not more written lore for Conan Exiles because the actual world of Conan is rich with lore that is unique to the world (i.e. not just repurposed D&D tropes and stories).

The locale in the video is a smol cave called Gallaman's Tomb. It's a 2 chamber dungeon with crocos and a boss that drops an item for the keystone.

Fun fact - a Corrupted Crocodile is an actual mob but the one in the video was not corrupted. There was a crocodile mini-boss skulking around though. It's near the end of the video; it's the one with blue eyes!

The purpose of this series (to me) is teaching myself how to tell stories from the perspective of a character in a game world. It feels a little cliche but it's really fun and simple. Find a cool spot in the world, come up with a story, crank up the graphics, and let it rip!

Ep3 is already in the works (above shot teaser!) and I'm going to have to figure out how to blend the day-night cycle with Egee so that it looks more natural.

The cave scenes were tough because they are very dark. I had to figure out how to lighten them up (+exposure was the way!). Video editing is my weakest skill at this point so I'm going to teach myself to do it better!
