I went into this one with a crazy amount of over engineering. I planned to use hardware (instead of a VM), a different microphone, and more but ended up with VMWare Player and the binaural setup from the RP videos.
I've installed Debian about a thousand times but it was interesting to walk through the screens slowly and read the descriptions (which admittedly I haven't before lol). I enjoy the slow ASMR style of reading for videos and things.
For posterity, I just want to remind myself how many issues I had recording this one.
The reason my first microphone pick didn't work was because it kept clipping! It's a good thing I do lots of sound checks because I wouldn't have known otherwise. And also, Garrus is still having his allergic fits and would go ham as soon as I started recording. His vet appointment is next week (FINALLY) so hopefully he'll be better soon.
