Art Summary 2021 (+ previous 10 years)

I don't remember whether or not I've shared all these before, so I'm doing it now! I'll happily show my embarrassing beginnings to my dear gemlins ahaha 💦 Apparently I never did a summary for 2019, at least I couldn't find a file, so that's the only year that's missing since 2010 ' _')

About this year: 2021 was pretty awesome in regards to my work, as a whole package this year was probably my most successful yet since I started the full-time comic creator journey. A Clip Studio Paint collaboration, the Webtoon Canvas Awards nomination, a successful volume 02 print run (aside from the production being a mess and super delayed  thanks to issues that are out of my control *cries in stressed*), occasional super fun streams on Twitch, some opportunities that I declined but still feel very happy about being considered for in the first place, another potentially upcoming thing that I can't talk about yet, a lot of very warm and sweet support from my audience ; o;) Professionally, definitely a very good year!!

I still struggled with my art quite a bit over the last 12 months, I was barely able to finish one illustration per month, got absolutely zero done in September, which was the peak of my slightly burnt out phase. But I still really like most of the illusts I was able to finish this year, so yay for that!!

I'm curious what 2022 will have in store for me, I have plans but no idea how things will have turned out this time next year, I'm trying hard to not think about everything that could go wrong after the end of #MUTED sdfsdfdsf💦💦💦

Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing the evolution of KAN from 2010 to 2021, every time I look at those summaries I feel very nostalgic and also actually a little bit proud to see past me suck less and less each year ahaha

PS: New #MUTED episode coming tomorrow!! I'm working on the final pages now, sketched 9 pages yesterday, I dunno how many are left, possibly like 10 more?? I'm taking my time with the finale, I want to cherish the time I have left with Emma and the boys and also make sure to plan the panelling etc properly to make it the best it can be!!
ALSO - sketch PDF is incoming too over the next few days!! Only the 2nd one this year, I really didn't have a lot of energy and time to doodle, most of what's in there is from the last month where I went hard with sketches and doodles lolol
