Artix Linux - No systemd required!

If you've followed me for a while, you know my opinion of systemd.

Systemd is (one of) the best damn things that has happened to Linux in a long time. Udev is probably the best, followed by the standardization of libs and file systems, but I digress.

Criticism of anything good is important, but the anti-systemd movement borders on conspiracy theories and has lost a great deal of steam over the past few years.

Enter: Artix Linux, the acclaimed anti-systemd Linux distribution!

This is probably the most critical I've been about a Linux distro on a Distro Delves episode. It's biggest issue is that it offers nothing of value, besides alternate init systems. And you can do that with a vanilla Arch install so... Why?

If you were to look at it as an Arch Linux installer, I could see it maybe having some value. But by using Artix, you have to use the downstream Artix repos, otherwise you'll break things or wind up with weird Arch install.

So again I have to ask, what is the point? Just.. Why?!
