SolydXK 10.4 - A Business-Focused Distro?

I've been on a streak of Debian-based distros lately and most of them have been underwhelming.

Deepin was a standout but it's more like Ubuntu in that it is "based on Debian" but is really its own thing.

SolydXK is more like BunsenLabs - based on Debian with relatively few custom things done to the base OS. But unlike BunsenLabs, SolydXK is woefully underwhelming.

If it weren't for the terrible SolydXK apps, it might not be so bad. But the SolydXK is basically the "special sauce" that makes SolydXK unique and they are terrible.

When building a GTK app, you almost have to go out of your way to write the business logic into the presentation layer in a way that makes it unresponsive when performing operations, such as installing software or refreshing mirrors.

I obviously wouldn't say this in a video, but this an amateurish mistake that this is unforgivable for a business-focused Linux distro.

But I mean, SolydXK didn't crash or otherwise lock up while I was filming, so there's that?

So now after watching, I think that is a pretty good take on it. I remember the last release it got a bit of coverage being just a rock stable distro... that said still interesting and hopefully the devs can look at what you found. I think it overall was a pretty good review.
