A Brian Life Update
Added 2020-07-23 12:05:00 +0000 UTCBack in March, the CTO of a little startup found me on Angelist and asked if I would be interested in a DevOps position at the company.
I flew out to Boston, interview with the team, and happily accepted the job. And then, in April, I got laid off due to COVID cutbacks.
In June, we had a quick meeting and now back on board! 🎉
My Snapcrafting days aren't over, though; I am still the Slurm Snap's maintainer, and I've got other Snap related projects I'm working on also.
The only downside to this is that I won't have the energy to churn out 2 videos a week until I get up to speed with irl work stuff. It's "easy" work, but I need to become familiar with everything before I can "autopilot" it. 😉
