Plans for June 💚 &some thoughts

Hello my gemlins, I hope you're all doing well!

Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my last post, especially the chapter 6 finale :) (if you missed it - here it is) 💙
I will do my best to reply to your comments as soon as I can, tonight it's already past 2am again and I'm about to pass out on the keyboard LOL;;;;;;

As I did after the last chapter - I will be taking some time to edit my script for the next chapter, and I will try to storyboard the whole thing all at once or at least half of it, instead of in batches as I plan on releasing them, like I usually do. 

That way I hope to improve the pacing and have an easier time keeping the bigger picture in sight, instead of focusing too much on details and hurting myself in my confusion. 

Doing this means that the release of chapter 7 will be a bit later than I'd like but in the long run it should reduce the wait between episodes because all the planning and rough drafts were done at the start and I don't have to spend time on that in between each update. 

Of course I can't really share much of my writing and editing process and my storyboards are butt ugly but I'm sure I will have one or two ridiculous Jasper panels to share at one point XD

However, since my last few days were mostly filled with writing &brain work, I was able to spend some time and energy just drawing. I've been looking at a lot of watercolour art lately and it made me miss watercolours are whole lot but I don't really feel like playing around with actual water and paint right now so instead I decided to play around with digital watercolour! Jasper up there is on of the many results of that, I will share more in a Sketch PDF that will be coming this month for $5+ gemlins! 🖤

I also hope to get one proper, finished couple artwork out this month and of course the PDF & JPG version of chapter 06 to download for $10+ gemlins :) I will let you guys know when that's up!

Also either this or next month I would... love to maybe draw a short-ish NSFW extra for Patreon 👀 It's been a while since the last time the boys got steamy and I'm offended they didn't even smooch again to wrap up chapter 06 so I feel like I need to do something about that. I'm currently still unsure about a setting or idea, if you have anything you'd like to see please feel free to drop it in the comments, maybe I can make your wishes come true XD (but no promises haha)

And lastly, something that's completely unrelated to my Patreon content or work in general -

I'd like to end this post by addressing the current situation in the US for a moment. I don't have a lot to say on the topic because it's not my place to do so right now and I've been mostly quiet on social media too, just sharing posts and sources and otherwise doing what we've been told - listening. It might seem inappropriate for me to talk about this here on Patreon (???) but I felt it was important and something I wanted to do at least once. 

I read, watched and learned a lot about the history of the US in the last few days. It's one thing for me to be aware of issues in my own country (something I always felt is important especially as a German, we all know about our disgusting history💦) but I also want to know and understand more of what's going on elsewhere. Expanding your knowledge and understanding can never be bad in my opinion. 10/10 would highly recommend, no matter how uncomfortable the topic.

It should go without saying but I want to make it absolutely clear anyway: I fully 100% support the Black Lives Matter movement and the protests that have been going on in the US and all over the world and I'm doing what I can to help from across the ocean.

This small community here has never had any room for racism, discrimination, bigotry, homo- or transphobia, I don't want any of that shit near me or my people and I want it to remain that way, I want this to be a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.

Also, there's been a shit ton of resources everywhere on socials right now on things to watch and read to help learn about racism and anti-racism, US police brutality and more, but if anyone of you is interested in what I've been consuming these days (also things regarding these issues in Germany, also on broader topics, not just the issues at hand right now), please feel free to slide into my DMs here and I'll compile some things and sources for you!

And that's all I can say on the matter.
