Hello my gemlins, I hope you're all doing well!

April felt like a fever dream tbh, not like an actual month, lol. It probably didn't help that I spent every hour I wasn't working, either sleeping or playing Animal Crossing XD (well, or baking cake)

Remember this drawing of Kai from February? I wanted to finally draw a version of Jasper to complete the set, too x) (Emma will follow too!) It's obviously not done yet, but I quite like it so far.

I was getting so tired of the tablet blocking an entire table that I could be using for something LOL (I miss traditional art), so I finally looked into getting a monitor mount/desk arm?? And bought one and I'm mad I didn't do it sooner, because it's a game changer! Not only do I have a whole desk free to use now but also I can actually use my tablet as a proper second monitor too if I want to AND I can adjust its position! Technically I could work standing now too, which I will definitely try.

The only downside is that it's a bit wobbly when I tornado-draw too hard but that's not the mount's fault but my PC desk because it's 15 years old and not super stable anymore, and the tablet's cables are a bit too short for how I positioned it on the desk and are stretched quite a bit, which in the long run I will have to do something about. But the mount itself is really good quality!

In case you're looking for something like this too, not only for your tablet but maybe your monitor in general, this is the one I bought. (not an affiliate link!) It is a bit on the expensive side but it's very heavy, strong material, no cheap plastic anywhere and none of the cheaper mounts I found could actually TILT the screen, which is of course super important if I want to use it to draw. You can also adjust each individual joint of the arm according to your tablet's/monitor's weight and how easily you want to be able to move and tilt it around into different positions. It took me a bit to figure it all out but so far I'm really happy and don't regret the investment! :)

I will post a small Hogwarts AU comic in a few  days! And this month I will try to finish up chapter 6 of #MUTED, the last couple of pages are going to be very calm, bright and ... introspective? XD I look forward to drawing them, I have my references ready. 😤😤😤

For now I will enjoy the rest of my Sunday, I just ordered a ton of Thai food which I can't wait to dig into, haha.
