YouTube analytics have come a long way since I started uploading videos back in 2014.
The tools on offer are super good but some of them provide really mixed messages, such as the widget in the picture of this post.
Compared to Distro Delves episodes, yes, the install .sh video was a total bomb. But if you remember from the recent post I wrote about the install .sh series, I already knew the viewership for this video would be low.
A brand new YouTuber might look at analytics like this and be crushed. All of those red arrows and percentages - they hurt!
I understand YouTube is trying to help and this algorithm isn't aware that my content follows series' and episodes, but still, the statistics here are a little short-sighted.
