Real Talk - Feeling Overwhelmed

So today is April 1st - April Fools. And I feel a little bad for not having anything planned.

I really wanted to start doing "themed" videos or whatever but I've got too much on my plate right now to plan for anything extra.

The support you all have been providing has been incredible and I want to thank you all so so much.

February was a disaster I talked about why in a previous post. But let's just say it was the most stressful period in my professional life.

And then right at the beginning of March, I lost my last paying contract gig, which I mentioned in another post.

I recently finally caught a huge break and landed a new long-term contract (from March to October) at a little startup called Shoobx. And it's been freaking amazing!

I'm having to learn a lot of new skills and technology, which is always a bit stressful. For example, the application is built with Python and is managed with Salt and I don't have much experience with either.

Anyway, this post is basically just an update and a big giant thank you to all of you.

I keep saying this but, I have cool new Patreon stuff in the works and I've updated the reward tiers, I just need to work on actually implementing stuff without sounding totally scatterbrained (like this post, ha!)

I'm putting the cart before the horse here, but I'm trying! 😅🚧
