... the worst part about posting illustrations is coming up with titles, I always feel very cringe when I caption it with some pseudo-fancy stuff, I was so close to just calling this one "hoot, hoot" LOL;

ANYWAY here is the finished Hogwarts!AU pic :')) This was fun to do!! I'm really bad at animals so I usually never draw any because they always turn out in some weird anime-style that I don't like. But I figured it's a good time to challenge myself and give it a go and maybe learn a thing or two :') I used a bunch of references for this owl of course and I'm pretty okay with the result! Definitely better than what I thought it would look like, haha.

(also a good chance to study how wings work, because those will be important for this AU later down the road 👀)
