I love data & analytics.
I started my career as a QA person doing software and worked my way into automation and more technical stuff but I still love analytics.
The "best" time of the day publish a video on my channel is around 3am (my local time) because the bulk of my "fresh views" happen between 6am and 12pm.
I published each of the videos in the picture above at around 5am except for the Manjaro video, which I published at 6pm.
I decided to use Manjaro as a test case because I already know the video will do "well", in terms of views, because its Manjaro and people are always interested in it.
900 views after 12 hours isn't great but notice it has over 100 likes (and no dislikes) as well as 35 comments. Compare those numbers to the other videos in the series 😉.
Also, at 94% like/dislike, the MX Linux video is the most disliked of all the episodes in Distro Delves. 94% sounds like a healthy number, but when you consider the average across all episodes, it's noticeably lower.
I do this kind of data spelunking with my videos all the time and I thought you guys might enjoy seeing some of it 😊. YouTube has some amazing Analytics and this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what they offer.
