Drowning in WIPs &other things

Good evening gemlins 💙

An update from my side is long overdue at this point. It's been one hell of a week, for various reasons I've been stuck and forced to do things I'd rather not be doing but hopefully things will calm down again after the weekend, because I want nothing more than just shut myself in and work on #muted :')

That said, despite whatever else is going on I've been making very good writing progress, I finished writing the penultimate chapter the other day, there's pretty much only the last chapter and an epilogue left for me to do. ; -; (and some parts inbetween but otherwise everything is finally worked out and set in stone! which should hopefully make the workflow much easier and better)

The upcoming chapter is going to be a long one, I expect it to be around 60 to 70 pages, so you're in for a ride :'D

Next week is when I can finally start sketching pages for chapter 06, I'm really looking forward to that. So I'm pretty sure #muted will return at the end of September, like I had initially planned, so that's good.

Writing process is always strange, because it feels so unproductive, when it absolutely isn't. I've been writing page after page and spent a lot of time thinking about the story and how to best tell it, and it's really draining all of my brain powers, which I enjoy a lot haha. But at the end of the day there's never anything to show to people and it doesn't help my itchy hand that wants to draw so badly! 

I've been using a few hours every day to draw, tho hardly any of what I did was #muted related, mostly I went back to fanart or different OCs, after thinking about Kai and Jasper all day I need a break sometimes so I don't get too stuck in that world and lose sight of everything else, if that makes sense :')

Today (September 5th) is Kai's birthday, so I really wanted to draw something for him ; -;) But it's not been a very good day, so in the end I scrapped all sketches and ideas and admitted defeat for once. But you get to see my abandoned doodles at least :') As well as a teaser of the almost finished cover illustration for chapter 06!
