10,000 Subscribers
Added 2018-06-26 15:56:24 +0000 UTCI'm going to pass 10,000 subscribers today and I have absolutely no plans to do anything about it.
Subscribers are very much a 2010 thing. Years ago it was a big deal to have tons of subscribers but today, it doesn't matter all the much. It's all about the views!
My channel averages about 7000 views a day. That is crazy. And this screenshot was taken before I hit 10,000 subs.
The main reason why my views-to-subscriber ratio is so crazy is because of my SEO. The tags, title, and descriptions I put on the videos. It causes my videos to show up in Google Search results, so when people search for "Flatpak" for example, my video is the top hit.
So what should I do for the 10,000 subscriber milestone? No clue. I probably won't do anything. Most folks don't want milestone videos so what's the point of making them?
