Added 2019-07-29 21:22:38 +0000 UTCWhenever I spend some time reading manga I get this very strong urge to really ink something and use screentones again. So I drew this last night after I had finished my daily chunk of work :')
Using regular hard pen brushes is such a struggle for me, I still suck at getting my vision down in /one/ line, I tend to overdraw a bit still, which is why I usually prefer pencil-like brushes, because it doesn't bother me as much then. But I would definitely like to challenge myself a bit more again, learn how to get more comfortable with real inking and achieving nice contrast in black and white drawings π
This is definitely more difficult for me to do than coloured art. While that has more steps it requires less brain power, mostly because I'm pretty comfortable with the colour sets I use by now and I don't really challenge myself a lot with light and atmosphere (which I should! Shame on me! xD)
Anyway this was a fun doodle to do, hopefully I can do it more x)
Also next update coming soon, I have 5 pages to colour but I'm in constant beast mode these days (fighting the heat, refusing to let it stop me) so unless I just suddenly pass out for two days I should be done soon! β€

I think that's a wonderful doodle. X3 Oh! Btw I did receive my Muted book! Thank you! It was beautifully wrapped and I felt so bad to open it knowing how long you spent wrapping everyting. XD I have yet to sit down and read it, but that is on my To do list. >3
