Sketch collection February 2019 (slightly spicy)

Finally, I found some time to collect most of my sketches from the last two-ish months to put them together for you :')

sketch for my copic drawing of my love's gw2 character ezra! a while ago i started to do all my sketches for traditional pieces digitally, because it leaves more room for trial and error and it's easier to fix things. Once I'm happy with the sketch, I'll print it out and use my light table to transfer the image onto paper.

Another Masamina drawing I'd like to finish some day, I've grown so very fond of them ; ;

A quick doodle from the middle of January that was not only an attempt to figure out my art style at the time, because drawing felt highly uncomfortable and wrong, but also one of my first tries with CSP's new colourise tool! I have yet to find a way to  make more use of it, but I can definitely see it being useful to create certain effects and moods.

These are from around the same time as Jasper up there. Very insecure about my style, especially faces, so I was just playing around, trying to settle back into my usual comfort zone. (I think I had just recovered from being sick then, so that might have been part of the reason why nothing ever seemed to work out)

You'll recognise most of these from the last MUTED pages :') Usually, when I plan scenes, I will draw the storyboard in order of things happening, but for their intimate scene I really wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to show, I had no clear vision of it, so I ended up brainstorming all over one canvas, in no particular order and then shuffled the sketches around so they would fit the narrative. Worked out pretty well I'd say, I will keep this approach in mind for similar scenes in the future ((((wink wonk))))

These happened while I was searching for a motif for the Webtoons banner. I finished both the one on the top left (you might have seen it here or on the Webtoons front page) and the one on the bottom left, though I haven't posted that one anywhere, because I wasn't happy with how Jasper turned out and wanted to go back and fix his face before I could show it. (Obviously, I haven't had time yet.)

Another example of my weird phase from January, tho I really like the idea of this and want to work on it more when I can..!!

And last but not least... some sketchbook stuff :')))) The first 2 pages are quite recent, from end January/beginning of February and were really just me missing my pencils, I quite like some of the faces there!
The pages below were from my time of struggle, I see my stiffness and worries in ever stroke haha. The only thing I like from those is the head on the top left of the right page, it was a quick study off of a photograph of some model. The one below too but that didn't turn out too well OTL Embarrassiiiing, but I'll gladly share my personal failures with you here in this safe space :')
