why is my patreon literally turning into livejournal 2.0.................

it is 6am and i'm currently having coffee and breakfast before i start my day!

i started the drawing up there on monday, after sketching on my laptop for a little while to warm up, only to realise that drawing digitally feels super super weird and i just could not do it. so i grabbed my watercolour stuff again, printed the sketch, and working with  an actual paintbrush felt much better 💕

i was thinking about holding giveaways for patrons every now and then with small pieces like this? if you guys would be interested in getting your hands on an original drawing from me?? 👀

tuesday i spent not drawing at all, because, GUESS WHAT ?!

my doggo still isn't free from the parasite he caught at the beginning of august so the whole process of medication and frantic cleaning started again. yesterday was the day i had to, once again, clean everything meticulously and spray any upholstery &fabric i can't put in the washing machine with chloride and then leave the house for 1-2hrs as to not suffocate from the fumes.

when i say "clean everything", i mean EVERYTHING, including my poor dog XD

unfortunately, since it's not 30+ degrees anymore it was quite a hassle to get his hair to dry so i could move on to the chloride+leaving the house step, as i don't want him to catch a cold :( i hope he didn't, i dried him as much as i possibly could.

i also mopped the entire floor and wiped every surface, wall, door, with boiling hot water (even if the instructions said 60°C is enough, i don't trust anyone anymore, so i may or may not have burned my hand in the process :'D) TWICE and disinfected everything and threw a lot of things away because my goal in life is still to reduce my belongings to no more than a backpack.

12.5 hours later i was done, grabbed some chinese takeaway while i was out with my doggo and then passed out at around 8pm until just now.

i'm praying to every deity out there that the parasite will be gone next time i get my dog tested, i can't deal with this a third time x _x) i will try everything to reduce the risk, which includes a change of diet and a different route for our walks, since the vet suggested he could catch that thing from other dogs in our usual park if one of the dogs there is infected and keeps infecting others and suddenly it's a vicious parasite circle and everyone gets sick again and again (O∆O) please wish us both luck that that's going to help ; ;)

oh! i also ordered a new bed!

doesn't it look lovely and comfy ; _;? since my current one doubles as sofa and bed and i have spent the last 13 years literally living and working and eating on it (9 of those my good boy fynn has been living on here too), it's super worn, super dirty, not comfortable at all anymore and i think i might have become allergic to it because as soon as i sit down on it my nose gets stuffy and my nervous cough returns XD a health hazard!!

luckily, payment in instalments exists, otherwise i would not have been able to afford it u_u) i'm trying to not feel guilty about spending money on this but i mean i hardly ever spend money on myself and this is a necessity and not some kind of luxury item, because i can't sleep well or work properly when i'm always uncomfortable (=in pain) and semi-sick, too! [ ± _ ± ]

my mug is empty now and you're all up to date! thank you to everyone who bothers reading all my ramblings all the time ; A;) if you're bothered by these since they don't focus on art content very much, please feel free to let me know and i'll think of ways to move them to a different place or incorporate them differently somehow. but i'd like to continue the casual blogging, as it is part of my daily life and has a lot of influence on my artistic progress and productivity/creativity after all.

and now i will take fynn for a walk and then move all my freshly disinfected watercolour supplies back to the desk to continue colouring jasper& kai! ( ᐛ )و
