this was my cooldown doodle last night. the metaphoric bubbles he's breathing will reappear in the next update, which i'll post for $5 patrons at the end of the week!
any guesses what they could be about? :3c
i'm always curious if my storytelling is too vague, just fine, or super obvious LOL one of my biggest worries is giving away too much so that everyone can easily figure everything out immediately. my other biggest worry is giving away too little so that it's only 100% confusing and nothing makes sense hahahah;;;;
some readers have had really interesting theories about kai so far, picking up on details in his body language and general behaviour but no theory quite managed to hit the nail on the head yet! not that i'd want everyone to figure it out yet but the more we progress the more apparent it should become what's up with him. jasper, the good boy, will catch on very quickly.

that's perfectly fine XD i'm the same with a lot of stories that i read!! i like not theorising and analysing too much, instead i wanna get all the surprise twists i can get ....!!

To have quit everything, a lot of things happened but that ONE LAST thing made him go "NOPE! I'M OUT" and that's what he did. It was like the last drop but WHAT is it? I have a feeling this picture is just another metaphor to how he felt back in his "old" life. I think hotel management is among the most stressful of jobs? He dealt with a lot of people and now he doesn't like to hear people and be in crowds. He enjoys silence. I'm really curious to see how the puzzle pieces are going to fall into place. :D I'm hooked and I'm 100% here to be surprised and let the story carry me whenever it will go!
