march 2018 sketches (+PDF)

not too many noteworthy sketches during the month of march, as a lot of my drawing time went into commissions @ _@)

but there's still a bunch i'd like to share:

at the beginning of the month i still felt the strongest desire to work on "two more minutes", which my schedule doesn't allow, so a few doodles here and there need to be enough. the above page is all misha both as a kid and when he's in his early twenties. trying to decide on his hair and facial features as a young boy.
(on the same day i also sketched out the potential first few pages of the prologue to the story, but it's all just wild and messy strokes which nobody would recognise, so i'm not including those. but i might finish the pages and share them here when they're done :3)

misha again. not sure what to say about this, i have a lot of feelings for my son is all.

me trying to decide on kai's sister's hair style 😂 i literally just googled "hair styles" and sketched out those i liked. the last in the third row was the one i decided to use in the end. fun fact: it's based on julianne moore's hair (i love her, she's been one of my many crushes for as long as i can remember)

this makes me think of something i wanna talk about soonish?? there was this meme going around twitter about original characters and one of the questions was something along the lines of "what is your character creation process like" and there's so much to say about that, i can never fit it into 280 characters, so it gets a separate post!! please look forward to that, it's been a topic i actually had to think about for a hot minute because my way of creating characters has always been a kinda subconcious process lol

the beginning of a short ignoct comic i started when tabata said in an interview (???) that both ignis and noct play the piano together. the sketch file has 8 panels so far and i still have more planned but i didn't have time to continue working on it T _T

the easter eggnogs you guys already know 🐰 my first ignoct fanart this year..... except for cheebs....... you don't understand how much i missed drawing them T _T) i definitely need to make more time for my boys....
