I finished off the Star The Terrible outfit with the poses variants and redid a bunch of layers for what I can use for the test portrait system. I exported it so the layering could work in various ways (hopefully) and so complicated combinations won't be a problem later (also so when I eventually get to it someone like Rae can use the same system since she has a different set of eyes for one outfit).
I did the exporting and here is how it will works in terms of file size err saving.
Old Files: 2.87 MB
New Files: 2.46 MB
New Files Plus New Outfit/Variants: 3.04 MB
Hard to say how much this will help long term but it all adds up. Plus it was done to hopefully make the code more readable too (for dialogue). I've done some simple tests with the new portrait system and things seem to be working well. I was thinking of creating a guide on how the new code works but I kinda haven't had time but I might do in a future update if I don't have anything to show. Oh yes and I got a slightly background picture from the artist I am working with.
