Hey Robert, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I'm happy to see that you're doing better. Your videos has really inspired me and I'm happy to say that I now bought my very own Trabant 601 S Combi. Here's a pic: https://i.imgur.com/CUEr6Oe.jpg Thank you so much for all the entertainment!

Glad to hear your journey on mental health!

Glad you're back, and happier. I missed you.

Robert, lets be honest... what you need is a "Help Robert Fill In His Pit" GoFundMe thing :-)

Compensating the auto exposure EV up or going full manual might also help. The auto exposure program tries to automatically gray out everything. When there is much white in the picture (i.e. a whiteboard, like now), it tries to make it gray. Try adding +1 EV to lightning or so. If it causes the light reflections burn out, I don't think it would be a big problem, but of course you as the artist choose how you like it to look. :)

You hit the nail right on the head! I’m glad you’re doing well and willing to share a bit about your healing.

Do you insist on filling the Pit? I guess you can make use of the space somehow e.g. create a steel supporting structure to park vehicles on and use it instead of a lift? Or you can create storage space inside. Or above and park cars inside, using a ramp? Or did it deeper and make two levels of parking?

Ognyan Manchev

Can you have a high light shining down and a low light shining up? It'd be a real shame not to be able to use the whiteboard, as the opportunities to diagram out things during a video seem very appealing.

Thank you for the update! And thank you for opening up and share your story of mental illness. I myself suffer from this, and it took more 15 years for me to finally give up and try medications. And I have never felt better in my life.

Hi there! Good to see you back.. I'm very glad that you're better. I missed your humor... Best greetings to what some people would call a family :-)

Roland Scharathow

Thank You!!

I definitely need to experiment with the lighting. Because of physical objects in the way I can't move the lights far enough apart to avoid the reflection.

Aging Wheels

Thank you for being so open and sharing - it takes strength. As a suggestion - moving the lighting further apart might reduce the reflection from the whiteboard behind you, which in turn would help the auto exposure light you better when filming.

Talking so plainly about mental health is not easy, but super important. The more people like you there are, the more destigmatize mental health will become. People are slowly starting to realize that there really is no difference between "mental health" and "physical health". Things break, we've got the technology to fix it (usually). :)
