Saab 96 Two Barrel Upgrade Part Deux

Was there an easier solution to running the vacuum lines? Probably. Was it necessary to run all of the hoses back to their original positions? Probably not. Are established solutions more fun than bodging together your own solution? Never.

This was not meant to be a three part series, but as you'll see in part 3 next month, I encountered quite a few more issues than I was expecting. In case you're wondering, the project is not yet done in real life. I'm still fixing and diagnosing issues with the carburetor and the containment of coolant.

Oh nice! I have no experience with Java. The joke about perl was made in jest... Some think it's such an ancient language, but from a system's perspective, that's actually its appeal. Programs written 15 years ago generally still run just fine. If you try to build a web-facing or modern app with it though, you'll be a sad panda. Have a great weekend, and looking forward to the next video!

I'm an Android dev, so pretty much entirely Java (and a little Kotlin). I don't have anything against Perl. Mostly because I know very little about it.

Oooh! What's your language of choice? Perl, here (I know, don't ban me please, I live in server shells)

I'm also a developer. It's amazing how much software development has in common with real-life building projects

I build programs for a living. When something works right away, it scares me a lot more than it failing the first time. It *always* means a problem is lurking and I just haven't found it yet. I suspect working on engines is very similar. :P
