Dressing Up

First of all, apologies for the somewhat longer break between posts. I've been working on 3 different projects simulataneously, and didn't want to upload anything until I'd finished at least one of them completely. This is the first of those three.

I'd like to mention something here. You'll see in this imageset that I've used different undressing morphs for the dress. The morphs, as well as the dress itself, has been created by me from scratch, specifically for this particular character. This obviously takes a lot longer than just downloading an asset from the Daz store and throwing it onto a generic Genesis 8 model, but that leads to unrealistic and unimpressive renders that are just scrolled over by most. And though it may sound silly, there's also a small sense of pride in using assets that you've created yourself, and aren't available anywhere else on the internet (in this case the dress and the bedroom environment).

Anyway, I hope you guys like the images, and I thank you once again for your continued support. Now, I'm gonna focus on creating something for Slushe's 'Alone' contest. What I've got planned might take a while, but I've got a real good feeling about it, and I think it'll be worth the time and effort. Have a good week folks.

(Btw, the inspiration for this came from the painting by Harry Holland that you can see in the background. I came across his work posted online and really liked his use of light and shadow, and wanted to recreate something similar, but in my own way.)
