Always so interesting that we all have such different opinions on these last seasons. I quite like that the New Directions didn't win this time around- would've felt pretty unrealistic to me if they had. They'd had a rough year and it's ok to show that. Also, I struggled a lot with much of season 4 and this first part of season 5...MUCH prefer when the changes you're alluding to kick in this season. I say this mostly for Jay to be able to keep going with some neutrality for his expectations.

It would have been a great tribute and wrap-up for his character because The Quarterback was mostly a tribute to Cory, but Finn as a character deserved a better ending and him, winning through the club would have been a beautiful touch. Glee creators and writers were dropping the ball massively at this point. And worse things are coming so beware, massive changes and not for the better.

2025-03-30 07:36:59 +0000 UTCI was waiting for this episode too! I just about warned you ahead of time but Tasha is right - when it aired originally with no warning it was so much more impactful so I’m glad you got to see it that way too - definitely some of my favorite performances of the series!

2025-03-26 05:43:54 +0000 UTComg been waiting for this one 💔 😢 the way the flashbacks always get me because when it aired WE HAD NO WARNING it was happening (unlike the tribute) so it hurt sooo bad i guess it’s kinda a second tribute and and they were waiting until it felt right to honour cory/finn but it’s my favourite episode of the season. the next couple episodes (100 + 101) are fun tho and i think you’ll enjoy them ❤️
