Thank you for reacting to this movie. I love that it is focused on Solene's growth and her claiming back her authentic self. A lot of people fixate on the age difference and totally miss the deep love and growth of both Solene and Hayes. The portrayal of Hayes' maturity despite his young age is fantastic. He understood that Solene was breaking up with him because she had to put Izzy first. He accepted it because he loves Solene and wants the best for her and Izzy. The break-up might have been the best thing for them because when they met up again after five years, they did not have the frantic energy of the whirlwind romance they had, but the quiet joy of two people who structured their lives in anticipation of their reunion. My hopelessly romantic heart has to believe they found happily ever after ❤️

2025-01-03 00:29:59 +0000 UTChad the whole squad laughin AND cryin w this one 😭 you’re actually the first person I’ve seen watch this and take it somewhat seriously; there’s a lot of meme potential w the fanfic-esque plot etc but there’s SUCH a beautiful love story in this that should NOT be overlooked AND YOU SAW THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! that 5 years later literally felt like the epilogue of a book played out onscreen, the anticipation gripping you like it does! seeing you just like 😳 at the steamy scenes in this made me laugh SO MUCH, the sweat was REAL 😭 thank you for being your ridiculously entertaining self, as always 🩷
