This week's report

There's not much to say this time, which doesn't mean I'm not working. Let's be brief, then:

Hardware upgrades 

In 2021, I bought a monitor that has a good factory image calibration. I remember that after seeing Solvalley on that monitor, I realized how wrong my conception of colors was, since my old monitor was a piece of shit. The 'new' monitor has a slight problem, however, as you can see in this photo:

 That thing I've highlighted in the image isn't a dot on Amy's face, in fact, I don't know what the hell it is. I don't know if it's dead pixels, or if some motherfucker bug realized it was going to die in the next 2 minutes and decided it was going to get inside my monitor and die there just to annoy me. I know it's driving me crazy and all my attempts to solve the problem have failed. That's why I've started pondering the idea of buying a new monitor.

The problem is that changing monitors makes me a bit obsessed with the color issue. In fact, I've never been sure if the colors I see on my monitor are the same as the ones people see when they play my games, and when I test the Android versions on my terrible budget smartphone, the images always look worse. That's why I decided to buy a colorimeter and calibrate my screens properly.

That's the hardware upgrade I made, the colorimeter. From now on, all my screens will be calibrated according to the industry standard (within the capabilities of the cheap colorimeter I bought). According to information from people who work in the industry, this colorimeter, despite costing around $140, is quite capable for normal uses and is therefore highly recommended for professional photographers, for example. The change on my monitor, which has good factory calibration, was small but noticeable. And if I buy another monitor in the near future, with the colorimeter I'll be able to quickly calibrate it to get very similar and accurate colors.

About the next updates of my games 

At the moment I'm moving quickly on HS Tutor update because I want it to be ready before the end of June. After that, I'll continue working on the same game, but also on the others all at the same time. I want to keep up an insane pace for several months to test the limits of my ability to create erotic games of different styles and art. It's like a trial I've set myself and I want to come out victorious. And don't worry, I'm not going to burn myself out, even if I'm working all day on these games, it's just fun for me.
