Jace was willing to give up his own life to protect the downworld, he tries to hide it but he feels more than most of the others, which is why he acts like an ass a lot....lol.

So much stuff is going to happen and I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’ll have to stop there. Also Magnus improves even more as the season goes on, as if that was possible
