Early Access Chubby Gristle

Hallo!

This took far longer than it was supposed to because 1. I was sad and 2. I am a moron who accidentally exported my drawing of Chubby Gristle to use in the video as a 4K asset and couldn't work out why Premiere Pro was melting. I would blame my medication change but I think I'm just generally a bit of an idiot with technology.

This video features the voice talents of Kim Justice, who did such a perfect, aggressively Yorkshire accent for Chubby I couldn't edit her recording for a while because I was crying laughing. And it made me miss t'pit, of course.

Thanks to you lot, I am now up to date with my uni fees AND I ordered a lapel microphone that's got one of those receiver gubbins and everything. Proper posh, I'm very excited to not have to spend ages fixing on-camera voiceovers that sound like they were recorded inside a sewer pipe.

There is another video to come this month which isn't too far from being done. Also, I want to do a spooky Halloween one but it's unclear if I'll be able to due to university gubbins. I'll probably do what I'm planning anyway, but it will be very late. I will be doing a Halloween stream though!

As always, thank you for supporting me to do what I love to do. x

Last Saturday, I went for a walk along the canal into Northampton. I saw something I didn't expect to see, because I hadn't seen it for quite some years. What I saw was - Prester John (that's what I call it) - a freshwater crayfish, but in addition to seeing it was - it wasn't in the water, it was on the path. Looked a lot different on land than in the water. I dunno why it was on the path, I can only surmise that it was doing some foraging out of the water. Anyway, not long after, it got back into the canal. Y'know what? I didn't try to take a picture (I don't bother with smartphones and all that, don't believe in 'em due to a Raymond Bradbury short story called "The Murderer" that involved wrist radios, but did predict the whole "I'm on the bus, I'm on the train" thing, but each to their own), it was just a subjective experience, I like to think that I'm the only one who ever sees Prester John - but seeing this thing, it felt to me that things are changing. Dunno for the better, but...eh. One other thing is - I have discovered that the rodents in my garden do actually try to stow things away - I have evidence of it. I have seen them try to put some walnuts (unshelled) inside my barbecue that I never use anymore. I think I will try to see if they bother with nuts in shells though. At present the misskossata (Ollish word for squirrels) tend to do the nuts in shells caching. I just want to know a bit more about the folken that hang around in my garden. Finally - no matter how depressed you get Sarah - your wonderful humour gets a heckuva lot of folken exponentially less depressed.

Obscure games and hiding bodies in the backyard with Octavius. Good times.

I think we're going to rename your Patreon supporters to "Octy's legal defense fund". Loved this video, appreciate you're having a rough time currently, the videos are funny and a little bit cutting. I hope they're helping as well as being entertaining.

You're awesome, always look forward to your videos.

Sarah - you are awesome! You're doing what some of us (me) can only dream of - sharing your passion and love of gaming with such skill and comedic value. I would love the chance to work with you at some point in the future once I get my shit together and work on my channel..... which is about 15 years in the making... ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฃ Stay awesome!

You're not a moron. You're doing amazing work! I realize your brain have some incredibly negative thoughts but you need to be realistic. What you have done and what you are doing is so profoundly awesome I am perpetually impressed by it. I wish I could offer more financially and be able to sit in on more streams. As it is all I'm able to do is happily consume content as I can and cheer from the peanut gallery. You're doing great! Everything you make puts a smile on my face, thank you!
