October Newsletter

Hey Folks! JJ here – PA to Octy and all-round general idiot. Octy finished this newsletter recently, but as many of you have probably seen, they took a bit of a turn and aren't doing too well. However, those close to them are doing their best to look out for them. So please don’t worry too much, keep an eye on the discord for updates, and as always, thank you so much for your support!

Haaaaaaaallo! This is the October Newsletter, written by me, Octy, while sipping on a glass of wine, covered in rats. Just as god intended.

It’s been… tough. Remember how last month I was about 70% back on my bullshit? We’ve gone down to about 20%. With all the crisis’ that have been pinging off left right and centre, can you blame me? If I hear one more car honk outside a petrol station, I swear to god someone’s getting egged. And uni work can get in the sea. But we’re still here! Thank you to the brand-new subscribers, and my love as always to everyone continuing to tune into … what even am I at this point? A large rat with great eyeliner? Yeah. That’s sounds about right. Welcome!

Discord

I’ve seen some things from the mods about topics getting a bit heated on the discord, particularly on #politics. I made the discord for people to share their stuff in a respectful and fun way, and I know politics is a hard one not to get heated about, but the tone of some of the messages there were bang out of order. There’s enough rampaging arsehole energy on the internet – if you want to indulge in it, by all means feel free, but not in my discord. We cool? Cool. I’m glad we talked about this <3

Twitch

OCTOBER SPOOKY FUN TIMES WILL BE HAPPENING! Probably in October (You'd hope, right?) You got a spooky game you reckon could be fun to stream/play/sacrifice to the Rattos, let me know down in the comments! My head is fried, I need all the suggestions I can get.

- Tuesday nights: Retro Game Night. Come suggest some fun games we’ve long forgotten about because they were god awful and my suffering is funny on camera.

- Thursday nights: Driving Simulator Night. Let’s see how many times I can get my driving license theoretically revoked.

- Saturday nights: ASMR rat Hangout. New security camera has arrived, the set up looks good, and the pasta nibbling knobheads are ready.

- We’ve also applied for to be a Twitch Ambassador! Not entirely sure what it means, but it can only be good, right? Fingers crossed!

Videos Planned This Month!

Uni work is kicking my butt right now. Kicking it HARD. But, trying to get some videos out in October, with some stuff recorded!

1) Iggy’s Reckin Balls: All. The. Bauble. Jokes.

2) HALLOWEEN VIDEO THING - Don't know what this gonna be yet. But it'll be spooky. Or Bad. OR BOTH. 

Update on Me

Remember how I said I was determined for September to be a full 180? Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I gave it my best, but it all just got to being a bit too much for me. It's gonna be easier to be under a blanket for most of this month, and last month too.  Whenever I wasn’t writing scripts I was doing uni work. Probably burnout. But, on the plus side, I got quite a few voice-overs recorded, so I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to upload more videos in October!
