My first ever outtake short

Literally this evening I attempted to record on-cam bits for three videos, and my two girls rats had other ideas. Detective Trifles (the one that has worked out how to get out of the shut cage?) and Reverend Teacake (the one who likes to loudly use the running wheel when I'm trying to record) try to get involved.
I'm so sorry, but that was very funny. Thank you for sharing the frustration.

There are rodents that come into in my garden (hardly a surprise because of all the seeds, peanuts, walnuts and hazelnuts that I put out for the birds, squirrels and whoever wants to join the buffet). At night I have been listening to the rodents, and..there are definitely voices...in the squeaks there's structure, and there are pauses and such. Hey...they don't bother me, and I don't bother them. I like those folks.

Sorry, my brain is just being distracted by the juxtaposing of "three" and "bits" right now.

I remember it well! I had rats all through uni. One escaped under the floorboards (a hole we didn't know about!) once and decided to live there for a week. He came out for food at night that I left him but was too sneaky to catch. Finally one day he just re-appeared in his cage with a fighting scar and an adventure to tell.

Aaahhahahhaha. What utter ratty dickheads. π Amusingly, none of my rats have ever been slightly interested in using a wheel. Go figure.

She's quite the little adventurer.
