Routine panels dont typically test for herpes because it's considered so common and doctors honestly don't want to tell you as it's considered "mentally taxing" or some shit I'm serious. It's a full extra $50 at my clinic. You also typically have an outbreak about a month after exposure. Condoms aren't foolproof protection as it's a skin disease so you can still get it if some guy has it on his balls and is fucking a girl. You want to get tested for both IGG and IGM blood tests as this will determine if it was a recent exposure or youve bad it long term. They are VERY accurate. False positives can happen but then you gotta retest. I would get tested myself, ask her to show me both panel blood tests. If your clean she absolutely cheated. If you pop for the recent infection antibodies, she cheated.

2024-08-15 18:57:35 +0000 UTCif I may, I think the advice for caller with MD/illbness could have been better & more playful - surprised Stav didn't suggest this: I agree you should make them feel silly and uncomfortable for asking, I'd suggest lying quite obviously that allows *you* to have some fun with it or at least shut the convo down if they person asking isn't a complete moron. So go with standard formula: Oh I was attacked/bitten by X. And then everytime someone asks you make up a new bizarre animal. So you can say bear, tiger, rat, hawk, fox, coyote, cockroach, bee, mantaray - the more outlandish the better. I know some comedians that do this - replacing bits with random categories - so that their material stays fresh and it's an injoke to themselves, and a challenge to see what random shit they can come up with in the moment. Small town America, the parking area on that whole block would be packed with vehicles, people hanging out and drinking. Then we’d go backroading, find somewhere to start a fire and just drink and bullshit with everyone. I’m sure that sounds lame and old but for years now there hasn’t been anybody hanging out in town on the weekends, we even have one more gas station than back then lol😂. That was like our version of American Graffiti and I often wonder if these younger generations have theirs.
