Which do you prefer? When I leave a series open so it can be continued? Or do you like them finalized and completed?

Obviously by this point we all know how I operate but I'm curious what you all think. Im trying to word this in a way that doesn't make it confusing.
Im not saying I want to just ALWAYS leave a series open. It's a case-by-case basis. I like closure as well and really do want to finalize a bunch of them.
But as I've learned over the years if I leave something open, people always ask me to continue/finish but if I finish something there's also comments saying "Nooo we want more."
I'm not going to lie this isn't a bad problem to have. It means you all love the work! I was just generally curious where people land.
Personally Im a big fan of coming back to something I wrote a few years ago with new pictures and a new perspective. But I also know when it's a good time to put something to bed hehe

It depends on the kind of story I think. Not everything needs to be open ended and some stories need to come to a conclusion!

My process is like this because thats how my brain operates. Is it chaotic? Very much so. But its what enables me to just keep constantly creating :)

Our Son the Switcher, cause there are so many people involved and when you do an ending you have to clarify every character to honor such a type of masterpiece but that means the ending would take over 10 posts
