I wonder where this is going... also wrt the discussion here about "canon" as it's used in the story rn, it's pretty obvious to me that it's not really in the same sense that we use it IRL. The "Candy" timeline is "less canon" because it is predicated on not dealing with the underlying issue with reality, whereas "Meat" is "more canon" because some of its; inhabitants are attempting to solve the problem, the success or failure of will likely determine the fate of reality at large. It's basically a new, meta-textual evolution of the "alpha timeline" vs. "doomed timeline" concept from the original series following the liberation of the "Creators" from Skaia/Sburb's influence.

As between his broken-heartedness towards the one being followed (now I'm asking myself if Jake, his mind free of Dirk's narrative power would be the key to defeating him), love of Jane, usual cowardice, I could both see him staying or, less likely, deciding to follow after Dirk after what just happened between them. I guess Callie too? I don't think their mental state was the best at the end of Meat, but Roxy leaving them behind or vice-versa would seem odd. I guess we still don't know. Was Callie ever referred to as one of the Creators, are they part of that pantheon?

And to be fair she doesn't have Gamzee to fuck things up more. Still, speculation is speculation and it seems someone is acting to deal with this potential issue!

Cause obviously someone kidnapping Jane and making sure she can't fuck over Earth C, and also get worse and worse like her Candy counterpart did, cannot do anything BUT become a plot point in the main comic. It cannot be a coincidence that Brain Dirk appears here too. But its likely something for year from now before they pop up again. And i guess that even if this is a story that does, not all of them will necessarily.
