Extreme grimdark campaign Mithraism

We take a religion/dogma and we see it how it would look in a grimdark future. Portals with demons have opened through the world and humanity have turned to religion and faith to protect themselves. Hardly any achives are kept so their meaning are twisted and at many times completly different.
For Mithaism they worship the sun. Sun light protects in the darkness and must be shared. It is considered a hubris to own the sunlight. They are noble warriors with extreme hate to anything that lurks in the dark. They use liquid fire and lazers for weapons. They have extreme hate to anyone that embraces the dark and strike with no remorse. suprise and stealth tactics is a disgrace.
