Development Update - 21st of June 2025

Hey everyone!

Tae and I finally got our PCs back yesterday evening. What we'd initially planned to take one day, then a weekend, ended up taking a week. We initially intended only to upgrade our graphics cards, but to get them working and take full advantage of them, we had to replace our power units and effectively rebuild both our PCs. While it wasn't ideal to have no PC access this week, it's nice knowing that our computers are now in such great shape for the upcoming years! This will help us with day-to-day tasks, but more importantly, will allow us to improve the rendering quality and speed.

I mentioned previously that we'd hopefully get a side paths update out during June. Due to my lack of access to my PC this week and Shoe_Lac3 working on other priorities, we unfortunately won't be able to get these out in June. We'd really hoped to be able to release something, as it's frustrating for us not to have released anything for quite some time now, as we were used to doing. However, as I've said before, I hope that once we're in a position to start releasing, the bigger updates with better quality will be worth it! We're very eager to release as soon as we can, and we really appreciate your continued patience with us overhauling our stuff <3

Despite Tae and I not having PC access, the team has still been making progress.

• We've got a couple more animations animated, and a few more scenes mapped out.

• We've begun going through the earlier scenes to add the main characters' updated models. (A couple of previews are below, without final lighting or camera work.)

  

  

Things are coming together slowly, but while looking over what we've got so far, while writing this post, I feel very excited about the potential of what we're working on going forward. We're very excited to share more when we can, but in the meantime, we hope you're enjoying the weekly wallpapers alongside the month-end exclusive ones!

I'll be organising our newly upgraded PCs today and tomorrow, as I'm going to back everything up, then do a fresh install of Windows to prevent any driver issues.
